Maths Home Learning
On Friday your child was given the KS2 SAT Buster book. Please look inside the Home Learning book to see what section needs completing each week. A copy of the Home Learning sheet is in the folders at the top of the class page (under term 2). Please ensure that these books are looked after and returned each week on Wednesday.

Cancellation Notice – Are You Smarter Than a 10-Year-Old? Quiz Night - Friday 10th October
Dear Parents/Carers,
Unfortunately, we’ve had to make the unfortunate decision to cancel our class fundraising Quiz Night on Friday 10th October, as only two teams have signed up.
We’d like to thank those who expressed interest, and we’re sorry for any disappointment this may cause. We will be refunding the teams who have already paid their entry.
Many thanks,
Ash Class Team
REMINDER – ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 10-YEAR-OLD? FRIDAY 10TH OCTOBER
Dear Parents/Carers,
We’re excited about our upcoming Quiz Night on Friday 10th October (6:30pm)! At the moment, we only have two teams signed up - and it would be such a shame to cancel the event.
If you’d like to take part, please bring in your entry fee (£5 per player) as soon as possible so we can make this fun evening happen. Gather your friends, test your knowledge, and enjoy a great night out.
Thank you for your support,
Ash Class Team
Good Morning,
Tickets are now on sale for our first fundraising event ‘Are you smarter than a 10-year-old?’ quiz night. The children will be raising money for their end of year trip as well as their chosen charity, Diabetes UK. The premise of the quiz night is that all questions will be based on the current national curriculum and are based on all the things you need to know by the time you are 10 years old!
The event will take place on Friday 10th October at 6:30pm in the school hall.
The maximum players per team is 8. £5 per player (adults and children).
Children in Year 6 (Ash & Daisy) are encouraged to join their family and friends and form a quiz team. Please send your team money into school in a named envelope so that we can book your table. There will a small raffle and a quick game of heads or tails (where you can win a share of the prize pot) so please bring some spare change with you.
We will also be holding a small raffle on the night and would appreciate any donations (chocolates, bottles, bubble bath, candles etc) please send these items into school, thank you.
Many thanks for all your support,
Ash Class Team
Welcome Back!
Welcome back to school and into Year 6 - your final year at Primary School, let's make it a good one!
Useful Reminders
PE - PE will be on a Monday and Friday. Please ensure that stud earrings are removed on PE days and that long hair is tied back. PE kit should be worn on these days (black jogging bottoms or shorts and a plain white t-shirt/polo shirt or school PE shirt and school jumper or school PE hoodie).
Pencil Cases - We provided all the equipment needed for your child so please do not bring in a pencil case as we do not have room to store these in the classroom.
Website/school Facebook - Please continue to check the website and Facebook page for useful updates, links to educational resources and to find out what we have been learning about.
