Week 6- Statistics

This week in Maths we will be moving onto a new topic, statistics! These lessons will be a combination of videos and activities on Mathletics. Some days there won’t be a Mathletics task set and instead you will use the activity in the video to consolidate your learning. The Mathletics task will be set from 7am - 9pm so there is enough time for the work to be completed whenever most convenient for you.

Maths Week 5 - Multiplication and Division

We are continuing our topic of multiplication and division and will finish this by half term. You are working so hard and really persevering with this work, Mrs Fuller and I are so proud of all of you, so well done! 

Tuesday - 2nd February 2020

I am so pleased with how much resilience you are all showing with our current topic in maths, I know that a lot of you are struggling and finding this really tricky. With this in mind for the rest of this week we will be focusing on recapping some of the year 2 curriculum which you would have covered just before the first lockdown back in March last year. 

Maths Week 4

We are now going back to multiplication and division after having a little break for a week and looking at money! I am so pleased with how well you all worked and how hard you tried to understand the new topic. We will be using a combination of Power Maths practise books and worksheets; if you can’t print the worksheet please don’t worry you can just write the answers onto a piece of paper (like we did before). There will be sections of the Power Maths book that we miss out but this is fine.

Thursday - Multiplication and Division – lesson 4

Today I would like you to have a go at the questions on page 12-14. There is no designated video for this task today as it is covering the same as what we did on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please just give this your best go and if you are struggling just do questions 1, 2 and 3.
