Welcome to the McGinty Speech and Language Centre SRP
The Centre is a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) attached to West Malling CE Primary School for children with an EHCP indicating their primary need as a severe speech and/or language disorder.
There are currently two specialist teaching groups within the McGinty SRP, one that accommodates EYFS and Key Stage 1 children (Poppy class) and the other for Key Stage 2 children (Daisy class). The children are supported by Specialist Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
Children that attend the McGinty Speech and Language Centre belong to both the SRP
and a mainstream class. All children at the Language Centre include with their mainstream class for assemblies, lunchtimes and playtimes and we offer a bespoke inclusion for all subjects.
We are immensely proud of our children and of the provision that we offer here and warmly invite parents to come and look around when considering placement options for their children. Please contact us on 01732 842061 to speak with Sophie Ogden, Teacher in Charge, for more information and to arrange a visit.
