Term 5

We hope you have had a lovely Easter break and are ready for the Summer Term!

Hopefully, we shall be having more warm and sunny days. However, to keep safe from the sun, please can sunscreen be applied at home before coming to school and ensure that your child brings a water bottle and a sun hat to school each day.

Important Information to Note

PE days are as follows:

Y2 – Monday and Wednesday

Y3 – Monday and Friday

Y3 have swimming on Mondays in Terms 5 and 6

On inclusion PE days, please send the children into school wearing their full PE kit (white t-shirt; black jogging bottoms/leggings) and their school jumper/hoodie.

Y3 will have PE on a Friday instead of Forest School so please send the children in wearing PE kit.

Please send us weekend news information and photos via email by Monday morning for ‘Show and Tell’ during the first session. The children love to share their news and photos greatly support their ability to recount their experiences.

Please update the Reading Journal each time your child reads to help earn certificates and raffle tickets.
Alaine Wells, our Speech and Language Therapist, will be in school on Wednesdays.

Poppy Class have had fun learning a Ghanaian call and response song, 'Che che kule'. They have enjoyed it so much, they have asked me to put it on the class page, so here it is!
