Monday 8th February

Today's maths is all about snowflakes. Watch the video and pause for each activity. You will be looking at repeating patterns, shape recognition, teen numbers and how to make your own snowflakes.

If you can, try to take some really close up photos of some snowflakes (most phones have a great close-up (macro) setting). What do you notice about them?

Please find below some activities to practise number bonds to 10, counting in 2s and looking at odd and even numbers.

Repetition is very important to helping remember these number facts - so feel free to get creative and try learning them in lots of different ways. You can use all sorts of things at home to help you: Lego, pasta, building blocks, coins etc.
