Each year our Year Six pupils look forward to sharing their school with prospective families. As a school we believe these children are our best advocates, and we know they are excellent at sharing what their school means to them. This year, with all children in separate class “bubble” groups, it isn’t possible to run these tours in the normal way. However, over the coming weeks, our Head Girl, Elsie and iMovie editing hero, George, have made a film which takes you around our school showing families how we strive to flourish and let each child’s individual light shine. The video is above.
Virtual open events
Our co-head teachers, Matthew Clark and David Rye, will share the school film, a presentation and answer questions in a zoom meeting. A recording of one event in November is available to view below.
Tours of the school building
Prospective families will be aware of the challenges the coronavirus pandemic gives us when enabling tours of the school. However, we are acutely aware that how a school looks and feels is a crucial factor in determining if a school suits your child and you. As a school we are hoping to be able to offer tours of the building at the following dates and times in groups of 5 with visitors being required to wear a facemask and having their hands sanitised on arrival in line with current guidance. Our co-headteachers will lead these tours. These tours are for adults only, and a maximum of two people per household should attend.
Tours scheduled for December have been cancelled in line with the Tier 3 level restrictions which will be in place.
Regrettably, tours scheduled for the 8th and 9th January have now also been cancelled in line with the national lockdown.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school very soon.
