Online Safety Advice

We are acutely aware of the challenges of, and importance of, monitoring your child's activity online.  We are also keen to support you in keeping them safe online.  This page contains a series of links that will help you manage this aspect of raising children in a digital age.

Children and young people spend a lot of time online – indeed it can be a great way for them to socialise, explore and have fun. But increasingly children do also face risks like cyberbullying or seeing content that's inappropriate.

Below are files from our recent internet safety workshops - providing information for parents about this important aspect of online life.

The presentation is attached as a PDF, along with an information leaflet and helpful conversation starters for families.

Our Online Safety Policy covers the ways in which we protect our children when they use the computers and internet in school.  It is kept up-to-date and in line with Kent guidance on an annual basis.  For convenience, the policy can be downloaded from this page, as well as the Policy Library.
